The 1st World Emerging Industries Summit will kick off in September, 2010. The hosts behind this epoch-making event are Asia-Pacific CEO Association (APCEO), a renowned international economic organization and China’s Jilin provincial government. 

The summit aims to promote the development of emerging industries, including that of new energy, new material, energy efficiency and conservation, information and networking, biomedicines, ocean engineering, electronics and high-end manufacturing as well as to enhance cooperation between government, business and research centers. 

China is stepping up its efforts in upgrading traditional industries and developing strategic emerging industries, improving modern industrial system. The World Emerging Industries Summit will help China significantly to maintain stable and moderately fast economic growth, to push the transformation of development mode, to accelerate economic restructuring, to enhance internal dynamics, and to promote sound and fast economic growth.

APCEO and Jilin provincial government has jointly held the fifth International Cooperation Summit for CEOs, Governors and mayors in Sept, 2009. The summit scored a resounding success and both sides further their cooperation in the 1st World Emerging Industries Summit.

Themed “Industrial Revolution and Green Economy”, the summit will select top 10 most valuable new technologies and  reveal top 50 business rankings of emerging industries. Major activities of the summit include: summit forum, meetings between government officials, exhibition of new technologies, roundtable meeting, investment and cooperation talks, business tours and welcoming dinner, etc.
