"The path for worldwide economic development ahead of us: innovation, risk management and governance"

The world economy is at a crossroads since the economic crisis of 2008. We see the mechanisms of globalization submitted to the rise of economic nationalisms, to the burden of debt weighing on the capacity for innovation and competitiveness. Everywhere economies have to face the challenge of changing their economic model for future growth in an innovative environment. Innovation means risk, and that's why innovation means a need for more trust and more cooperation worldwide, through new ways of developing territories, through new policies and through new tools to assess and manage risk and investment. This can only be made possible by stronger regional governance and by a renewedmultilaterl governance for our multipolar world.
