SUMMARY

Throughout the history of the development of world economy, enormous experience has shown that new industries always emerge from the deep integration of emerging science and technology, finance, industries and commerce, indicating the direction of scientific innovation and tendency of industrial development. Driven by the innovation in science and technology, emerging industries come into being and thrive in the battle against major economic crisis. High-tech industries featured with energy efficiency and environmental protection, intelligent manufacturing, digital service, biotechnology and new energy have been booming and great achievements have been made.

The breakthroughs in technology and industries have been encouraging: the upgrading of 3D printing technology allows people to materialize the blueprints in computer; electronic ink technology provides people with micro-libraries in their pursuit of knowledge and development; intelligent robots shall play different roles in various aspects in future society; the technology of fingerprint identification will reform the ways people pay in consumption; hydrogen energy, solar energy and other efficient clean energy help greatly ease the energy crisis.

To conclude, emerging industries led by developed countries will be new highlights in economic growth and the fundamental power for getting rid of economic crisis. What’s more, they will be the focus of global industrial restructuring, industrial transfer and technology transfer. Radical changes will be seen in people’s life in future and social development due to the development of emerging industries.
